A New Year- On to 08
So after Christmas I headed down to the California of Japan otherwise known as Kansai. My roommates family lives there and it is always a blast to hang out with them. The highlight of the day for me was catching up with my friend Kazi. He is an old friend from my first summer in Utsunomiya and is now a grad student at Kyoto University, maybe the second most famous university in Japan. It keeps him super busy, so this is the only time each year that I get to see him.

And if your wondering why this post is in blues and grays, it because I spent the whole trip battling a cold so I had to spend a lot of time sleeping :( But it was still a great time!
