Sendai Camp
So here are some pictures from the first of June! On the beach at our Sendai English Camp. The summer friends had just arrived.Man did this summer go by fast!!
My camera was inside after our work project so I had to wait to get pictures of our time on the beach from other estudents. And then the busyness of the summer and computer issues kept me from getting these posted.
This is a great shot of Keiichi as we prepare to throw him onto the Sea! This is one of our favorite traditions at the camp. Some fight it, and as you can see here, others don't!
We had a great small group discussions about how God views dating and we explored how deep God's love is for us. That He supplies all our needs and from that place we can then pour out our love to special man or woman that comes into our life.
Speaking of special people. A person very special to all of us in Utsu BEST was able to join us on this trip. Heather was a Mid-Term worker when I was a summer friend back in 04. She was visiting Japan after a summer trip to Asia with some students from Iowa. It was great to have her back with us for a few days. She loved the students so well while she was here. It was great to see her and be encouraged by her again!
